E mentre non si sono ancora spente le polemiche riguardanti l’ultimo volume della serie di CD mixati targati !K7 (sì, proprio quello curato da Nina Kraviz) viene già annunciato il prossimo dj che avrà l’onore e l’onere di firmarne la quarantanovesima uscita (addirittura!). Sarà Darren Cunningham aka Actress a scegliere e mixare la musica della nuova collezione DJ-Kicks. A proposito, Actress ha spiegato “When I’m selecting music I’m not always thinking about the music alone,”. Ha poi aggiunto:
“I’m thinking about the names of the artists, tracks, and labels, and what they mean to me. I often base my tracklisting purely on how well the track titles work together in a poetic sense.”
Riguardo al mixaggio ha raccontato “I’ve tried to keep space between tracks, allowing them to speak, I tried not to force BPM shifts and to let the programming remain choppy and quick.”. Non vediamo l’ora di poterla ascoltare. Di seguito trovate la tracklist completa:
